2013 NLCS Game 3: Dodgers 3, Cardinals 0 – The joy is back in Puig and the Dodgers

Hyun Jin Ryu threw a gem to lead the Dodgers to a 3-0 win over the Cardinals in Game 3 of the 2013 NLCS.

Hanley Ramirez returned but was still obviously hurting.

He had two hits, but let’s be honest, they were basically pop-ups.

Adrian Gonzalez broke the Dodgers out of their slump to put the team up 1-0.

Yasiel Puig got jobbed in his first plate appearance.

An appropriate reaction:

But he made up for it later, though.

It gave the Dodgers a 2-0 lead.

It even got A-Gon pumped.

Then Carl Crawford did his best reckless Puig impersonation.

It was an extremely close play, but I think he was safe, and even with replay that doesn’t get overturned, so arguing about it is pointless.

Also, if you wanted to watch one player have a terrible day, here’s Jon Jay‘s adventure in center field. It was … bad.
