
Playing for the World Team in the 2012 Futures Game (because he was born in England), the Dodgers lone representative, Chris Reed, got rocked a bit in his one inning of work. He gave up two hits, a walk, four runs (two earned), and struck out one.
It’s indicative of exactly nothing, but it would have been awesome for him to turn some heads there.

He did strike out Nick Castellanos (the game’s MVP) on three pitches. So, that’s a positive, I suppose.
Reed’s defense didn’t help him (his own included), but he wasn’t especially sharp.
