
After drawing a walk, Matt Kemp scored on a double by Andre Ethier, but halfway between second and third, as he tried to hit another gear, he noticeably slowed down.
Tony Gwynn Jr. replaced him the next inning.
Upon being removed from the game, Kemp snapped a bat in two and threw it against the dugout wall.
Kemp re-aggrevated his left hamstring, team announced. MRI tomorrow.

Update
Being interviewed after the game, Kemp said he expects to go on the disabled list and that it felt worse than the first time he injured the hamstring, but he hopes the MRI shows good news.
