MSTI: I don’t know where he found this, but this is definitely the best thing Javy Guerra and James Loney do all year even if they finish 1/2 in the MVP race.
Dodger Thoughts: None of the potential Dodgers ownership groups liked the Matt Kemp and Clayton Kershaw contracts? Uh…yikes.

MLB Trade Rumors: Los Angeles Dodgers have four players who are out of options for 2012: A.J. Ellis, Ramon Troncosco, Blake Hawksworth, and Scott Elbert.
Could mean trouble for Troncoso and Hawksworth, but the other two shouldn’t have an issue.

It’s hard to tell from those quotes what the new ownership groups don’t like about the deals though. It appears they don’t like the Kemp deal because it was backloaded…meaning they don’t like that McCourt, knowing he was selling the team, decided to fit them with almost the entire bill. Can’t say I blame them for being upset at the cheap bastard. I highly doubt they’re complaining about having Kemp locked up.
As for the Kershaw deal, it seems they may be complaining about the fact that it wasn’t a lengthy enough deal, although the direct quote is concerning when they complain and compare the $$ in his deal to Lincecum $$…umm, yeah, what do you expect for the guy that basically made Lincecum his bitch in 2011?
Seems like a lot of complaining about money for a group that is about to drop billions on a franchise.
They should be more upset about the backloaded deals for all the AARP members that Neddy signed.
Btw, is Atlanta still paying Bruce Sutter?
What?
Bruce Sutter?
Ya the Braves signed Sutter to the Mother of All Deferred Contracts right before his arm fell off. I’m sure it was Neddys inspiration.
